Anti-ABI5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody VWR
Recent investigations have unravelled the importance of light–ABA interactions in postgermination development and environmental adaptability of seedlings. However, ABI5 was found to modulate the PYL11‐ and PYL12‐mediated ABA response. In the abi5‐7 mutant, ABA hypersensitivity caused by PYL11 and PYL12 overexpression was totally or partially blocked. By contrast, ABI5 regulates the expression of PYL11 and PYL12 by directly binding to their promoters. In addition, ABI5 was shown to directly activate its own expression, whereas BBX21 negatively regulates this activity by directly interacting with ABI5. Together, our study indicates that BBX21 coordinates with HY5 and ABI5 on the ABI5 promoter and that these transcriptional regulators work in concert to integrate light and ABA signaling in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Se hela listan på frontiersin.org regulation of ABI5 expression represents an integration of light and ABA signaling during seed germination and early seedling development. Accumulating evidence indicates that BBX proteins work in concert with HY5 in regulating photomorphogenesis [14–17,20]. Since HY5 directly activates ABI5 expression, it is interesting to investigate whether BBX proteins are also involved in ABA signaling. 2021-03-06 · AtMyb7 negatively controls the expression of the gene encoding bZIP transcription factor, ABI5, which is a key transcription factor in abscisic acid (ABA) signalling and serves as a crucial regulator of germination inhibition in Arabidopsis.

ABA Insensitive 5 (ABI5) is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor that plays a key role in the regulation of seed germination and early seedling growth in the presence of ABA and abiotic stresses. ABI5 functions in the core ABA signaling, which is composed of PYR/PYL/RCAR receptors, PP2C phosphatases and SnRK2 kinases, through the
2018-02-20 · ABA induces a number of effectors, including the bZIP transcription factor ABA INSENSITIVE5 (ABI5). ABI5 accumulates during seed maturation and in dry seeds [19, 20].

Their phenotypes are similar to mutations in ABI3, which is thought to encode a Comparison of seed and ABA-inducible vegetative gene expression in wild-type and abi5-1 plants indicates that ABI5 regulates a subset of late embryogenesis-abundant genes during both developmental stages. Responsible for reducing cadmium uptake, mediated by interaction with MYB49 . Chromosome : 2: Locus ABA Insensitive 5 (ABI5) is a basic leucine zipper transcription factor that plays a key role in the regulation of seed germination and early seedling growth in the presence of ABA and abiotic stresses.
ABI5 is a key component in ABA-triggered pathways during germination, seedling establishment, and vegetative growth (Lopez-Molina et al., 2001); in addition, it has been reported to play certain roles in nitrogen assimilation and signaling (Signora et al., 2001). Studies have identified the key components of ABA signaling in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana), some of which regulate ABA responses by the transcriptional regulation of downstream genes. Here, we report the functional identification of rice (Oryza sativa) ABI5-Like1 (ABL1), which is a basic region/leucine zipper motif transcription factor.

By contrast, ABI5 regulates the expression of PYL11 and PYL12 by directly binding to their promoters. Beyond germination, ABA further inhibits postgermination seedling development, which is often mediated by the transcription factor ABSCISIC ACID INSENSTIVE5 (ABI5) (Chen et al., 2020). Recent investigations have unravelled the importance of light–ABA interactions in postgermination development and environmental adaptability of seedlings. 2020-03-02 · Moreover, we observed that on 0.3 μM ABA, growth of abi5 pifq mutant seedlings was more resistant to ABA than that of pifq mutants, but similar to that of abi5 (Figure 4D). These observations indicate that ABI5 is epistatic to PIFs in mediating hypocotyl-negative gravitropism and ABA signaling in darkness.
